Samantha Silvia…

Samantha grew up on the tip of Manhattan, the daughter of artists, who ran a small, not-for-profit Shakespeare Company. Her summers were spent setting up tents, listening to the actors warm up their voices, and watching the faces of strangers on picnic blankets under the light of the moon, transfixed by the poetry and magic of live theatre. Some time later; she is now a classically trained and seasoned actor, spending years honing her specialty in Shakespeare (touring all around NYC and upstate NY), a clown based, physical theatre professional, and has devised new works, at the NYC/PVD Fringe Festival. She holds a BFA in acting from Adelphi University, as well as has studied at the London Dramatic Academy. She is currently a devoted audio-book narrator, Licensed Massage Therapist in RI/MA, and mother to a tenacious little girl.

Samantha's passion is to give voice to stories that nurture, empower, and sparkle. Tales of healing, women throughout history, experience with disability, and motherhood. She also loves a good fantasy! An absolute nerd of YA literature, and cozy mystery, her melodious youthful tone, and numerous dialect proficiencies add to her gratifying storytelling, and character enhancement.

Her experience as a LMT/CMLDT (with particular focus on treating women recovering from breast cancer) has taught Samantha the transformative power of REST. Her soft and soothing guided meditations have quelled many an overwhelmed soul.

Outside of her work, her favorite things include; a cup of herbal tea, otters, wind chimes, fuzzy blankets, and the sound of her husband making her daughter squeal with laughter. She believes in kindness, compassion, and the accessibility of art and literature for all. "
